Study for anyone onshore with a Visitor Visas gets a bit easier

Visitors already in New Zealand can now study for up to 6 months in a calendar year without applying for a student visa.

School age children holding a visitor visa valid on 11/09/2020 can now study in Term 1 of 2021 as domestic students (international fees do not apply) even if they studied in Term 4 of 2020.

Adults can now attend tertiary studies for up to 6 months. International fees may apply. Take advice from the course provider.

Anyone wanting to study longer than 6 months in a calendar year will need to apply for a student visa in most cases. Take advice.
