Employers want to know that work experience and skills will transfer quickly into the workplace. Don’t assume a New Zealand qualification will guarantee a job. International students are competing with New Zealand graduates so be prepared for rejections.  

Coming to New Zealand to study should be a wonderful experience full of new friendships, new experiences, fun times and hard work to complete a high-quality education. Avoid being taken advantage of by agents who are more interested in commissions from placing you on a course than what is in your best interest.
