Christmas bonus for Employers

The government has announced businesses who apply (first time application) for employer accreditation before 4 July 2023 will receive an automatic 12-month extension on their accreditation status. No application form or fee required.

There are no changes to the job check or work visa process and government fees still apply to each of these steps.

The proposal to include businesses in the mandatory accreditation scheme who employ workers with “open” work visas (working holidaymakers, partners of work visa holders etc.) has been shelved until 2024.
